Last entry for 2009..

Hmm in less than an hour.. We will be welcoming another decade.. Time really flies man.. So scary..

If u ask me to conclude the year in one word, i think i will use relieve ba. This year hasnt been too good for me ba. I been sick for a lot of time this whole year.

So to based on my hope and wishes for 2009, i managed to secure 3 out of 4. I am able to ord without any injuries, i started my university life, i still managed a steady r/s. The only saddness is my health ba.

So my wishes for 2010 is very simple.

- Be healthy!
- Get good results (i dont want to waste money!)
- Steady r/s

Lastly to all, Happy new year. Hope all will have a good and lucky year ahead.

Sufferings..

This few days i am suffering from the torture of ulcer. Ulcers on both side of the mouth, making me no mood to do anything. No appetite to eat. Hai.. Hopefully can faster recover. Take it as dieting? lol.

Ok i guess the talk of the town for the last few weeks is the Mac Monopoly. I thought that this is the longest queue i saw at Mac since the hello kitty saga. Me myself also was no exception. Who dun wan free gift. Haha..

The summary.

Me suffering from headache again. This crazy weather is doing me no good. This year my health hasnt be the best. Hmm is time to keep fit. Yes i know i have been saying this. Now i need motivation for not only studying and also EXERCISING. Talking about study i think i am starting to feel stress. A lot of catching up to do, but i shall enjoy this final 2 years of my study life. (Unless i failed.. opps =x)

Well actually i have a lot to blog but i shall just crap through my way while waiting for my show to start.

Finally the meeting is successful. Attendance rate was fairly healthy. Yes i am talking about the poly fren gatherings. Dinner at V8 cafe and ktv next end a short but fairly good gathering. =)

Went to town ytd. (260909). A lot of ppl wearing the lanyard- tix holder for F1. Suddenly have the urge to watch next year de.. haha..

Anyway i went to watch the movie 'ugly truth' ytd. A good movie i would say. Funny and touching at parts. Quite an enjoyable movie. I recommend ppl who love romance kind of movie to go. haha.

Finally the wait is over and Act III is out. =)

So much has changed..

Hmm.. Date Check. Is been such a long time since i blogged. To be exact: 4 exact months! Suddenly have the urge to blog especially with what happened in the last few days.

As usual some routine update abt myself. As predicted, i registered with SIM under the UOL degree for banking and finance. School has started since June. I had completed my bridging for maths and economics which granted me with exemptions straight to year 2. Formal school start on 4Aug with the foundation and just this week for the further units. The following are the four modules i am taking this year:

Principle of Banking and Finance: Oh god, this module is damn hard la. Though i have the interest but there is just too many thing to remember and also it is needed to keep up with the news. I have aged and i no longer have the ability to memorise things. The 2 years gap. Haiz..
Joke for the module: Ok the bank regulations that you have learnt now is going to be outdated next year, but it is relevant for examinations, however, it is good to know the changes as to show examiner that you are updated. So meaning i have to know ALL!!
Principle of Accounting: Its just a repeat of poly but then i think i have forgotten all and the approach is different.

MicroEconomics: I have considered for a long time between micro and macro economic and chose this in the end. Hope i would not regret but a first lesson made me suffer a deep blow. "Class, those of which failed last few years came mainly from bridging and DMS" What a blow. Is it a motivation booster or morale rocketing? We shall see.
Management Maths: 1 module which i have the most confidence, hope i can sail through it ba.

Hope i can meet all my target ba. And my final aim is a 2nd upper honour graduate. Please whichever hope, blesss me with all the motivation and discipline i need to achieve this.

Have you ever wondered what is the feeling like when you have ice-cream buffet for 3 consecutive weeks?!
I does! And i can tell you for the next few days, no is weeks, i would not touch ice-cream. (This 3 visit happen in swensen ion and i think i really make use of the 1-for-1 buffet well. =P)

1st visit(090909): I am stupid cus i had a heavy lunch before going. I just had a few scoops so is not value for money for me.
2nd visit(180909): Learning from the experience i had the last time, i managed to have 15 scoops. LOL. A much more valued for money for me.
3rd visit (240909): Not a good experience as 1 of the freezer is down and the variety of ice cream was so much lesser and all the flavour that i want is not present!!!

Flavour i recommend: Sticky Chewy Chocolate, Bitter chocolate gelato, Super lemon, Peachy mango
Flavour i dont recommend: Kiwi Rasperry, Coffee

On 22nd Sept 2009, another good friend of mine has left for oversea to further her study. Hmm it would be so good if the person was me? Actually i am tempted of the chance to go UK. (the option of enhancing my degree to go to Manchester's IFs school of business for 1 yr to further my study). But i know that would not happen as i know myself very well. I am not independent, i cannot put down every here and also i dont have the courage to be alone in an unfamiliar place. How i admire my friends who are abroad. Anyway i wished her the best of luck and take care.

I remember that i have much more to blog other than this but think my short-term memory is here again. So shall stop now.

A civilian again..

12th May 2009. A day i will alway remember and cherish. It is the day i recieved back my pink IC. Is such a nice feeling actually. To reminisce the 1yr and 10 months of service, so many things happened, so many events. Is actually quite sweet. I know that this post is a bit out-dated but still just wish to have some update.

For information, i have applied for SIM (UOL - Banking and Finace). Knowing that i would not be able to be accepted by NTU or NUS and after much thought, i decided to apply for this. After all i have more interest in figures and is better in this area ba. Anyway just want to comment that registering with SIM has so many procedures, so troublesome, but for my own sake no choice but to do it.

Currently working for converse again while waiting for my bridging course to start. Need money ar!!

Like this feeling of slacking, no stress, no troubles, no pain. So relax, but i wonder how long can i enjoy.
