2007 is here le! Okay i know is very very belated but no choice. I wasnt in Singapore during new year day. Then after that either no mood if not busy with projects. But late then never right? lol crap.
This year was a bit special or shld i say last yr.. watever la. As all may know, i spend my New Year Day in Bangkok. Some crappy ppl like me would say. Cool i went to bangkok for 2years in consecutive. LOL so this entry will be on the trip ba.
Is been 13 yrs since my last visit to Thailand, Bangkok. I was still very young then except for some small recollections here and there. Like the floating market, tiger show and the cooling weather. Saying abt the cooling weather, is really so funny. 13yrs ago when i went, the weather was very cooling. Since then, is been so hot even in its winter season. 13yrs later, when i went again, the weather again was cooling. not as cooling as last time but at least is the coolest since 13 yrs ago. So am i the one to bring cool weather to bangkok? haha..
Okay. This time rd i took Tiger airplane there and took Jetstar back instead cus there is no tix for Tiger le. For this trip, i visited 2 airports for the 1st time at one go, the budget terminal of Singapore and the Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok. The latter opening only during last year 28th september. Is really big but at the same time very very messy. Ok i have to comment abt the ride there and back. Tiger airplance was stable but then the seats are not good then jetstar is unstable but the seats are good. Really nothing can be perfect. Haha.
I stayed at Eastin Hotel throughout my 6days there. Which means for each day, i had my breakfast there. (the buffet) First few days was nice but as the next few days come, the food become so not appealing. imagine u having the same food for 6consecutive days. LOL. But the chicken sausage and fried rice and coffee was nice. LOL.
Did a lot of shopping lor. Walked for an average of 8hours per day. Visited the weekend market (chatuchak), siam paragon, MBK, centure world and many many more.
The food are not bad with a bit thai spice taste lor. The fast food are cheap!! hahaa
Throughout the 6days, it really allow me to open my eyes. Bangkok was not as remote and undeveloped as i thought. In fact, some buildings and equipments can match up with SIngapore.Like their shopping mall la, train la. But 1 thing i have to say is, there is so many taxi, it can be as much as 7 out of 10 vehicles. Their ppl are very polite and courteous. That good. Haha.
Okay jus an add on, on new year eve, actually wanted to go tk a look at the countdown stage de. But at abt 8plus rcv a call from singapore, and the call was abt Bangkok gunna bomb! the place was still so peaceful, if not ppl called, we also dunno. So we u-turn back to our hotel and saw the news really got bomb. So end up counting down in our hotel room. So special rite?
Okay back from the trip and i suffered the next few days, dunnno because of what reasons, my hands, legs are full of rashes. Is so itchy la. And the worst part is i dun dare to scratch if not it might end up becoming scars. Lucky now i am feeling better ler. That shall be abt it for the trip bah.
Tmr will be the start of the final term ler. So fast it has been. my 3yrs of poly is ending in approximately a month ler. 4 more weeks. But these 4 weeks would be a hell 4 weeks. Why do i say so leh?
