This post i had taken more than half a month to complete.. Duno how many ppl asked me to blog also le ba.. well simply busy in between and also the lack of mood to blog.. HaHa.. well.. the spring cleaning is over le.. my blog was cleaned now le.. hehe 22th Feb Morning went to zm hse to do mmit. left at ard 4plus. met dear at hougang mrt before heading to her hse for steamboat session. sorry dear for making u wait for me for so long.. muacks. Haha.. anyway the steamboat session was not that scary afterall.. keke. at least not as i tot. =) ate till very full. keke.. 23th Feb Actually meeting fab and all before going to bai-nian at various ppl hse. but dunno due to miscommunications or misunderstanding, the plan was postponed. well at least i did not know ba.. so end up i nv go out with them instead. cus too late le.. plus was heading to san yi hse for dinner. had curry.. 24th Feb Played bball! finally have the time to play. it was dunno since how many months le ba.. those present were me, alvin, boon pioh and samuel.. the weather was damn hot lo.. no wonder i had a bad headache for the rest of the day.. 25th Feb Went to dear hse again.. cus it was the day the clique going. a pretty hot day.. Well. dear's parents cooked curry and beehoon.. haha my 2nd time eating curry within 3days.. next went to mr seetoh hse. we waited so long for the taxi! 10 bucks sia for the taxi me and tobs took. whereas the gals' taxi fare only was 7plus bucks. diaos rite. so sat at Mr. Seetoh hse for quite sometime. Next we headed to parkway for dinner at fish and co. so ta-da another day of bai-nian. 27th Feb thank dear for accompanying me to my dental appt. hai dunno how many more times i need to go.. the doc said the gaps were closing slow.. and he put double layer of power chain. waw damn tight lo. anyway.. watched the movie "just follow law". Quite entertaining la but then overall okay only lo.. Maybe because i not working in government-related companies lo.. That why dun feel a thing.. heard from my sis and all. the things were quite true. well perhaps ba. nevertheless. the actors were brillant.. especially fann wong. she really spoilt her image sia.. i also felt that the huang chong yao (pardon me if i gt it wrong) was great in acting as a malaysia. very alike. haha..
Too many events to write down but simply need the tempo and momentum to blog too..
Well firstly with reference to my previous post. I had survived! lol thou i had unofficially graduated for weeks le but i still had to say i survived! haa (well rather super belated ba) keke..
14th Feb, My first Valentine Day
For so many years, valentine day to me is jus another ordinary day. Normally will be slacking ard at home or celebrating it with my friends. Is also friendship day ar.. Well i always envy the many couples strolling down the streets. I wonder when will the day come for me to be strolling down the streets celebrating such a day. A sign of despo rite? but then perhaps i am sentimental bah.
Nevertheless.. 2007.. 14th Feb was never an ordinary day for me le. It was the first valentine day between dear and me. Is really one of my sweetest days in my life. That feeling of holding ur hand strolling down the road was so good.. Well i decided to have a proper lunch since we have the whole day and since both of us do not like to squeeze. so we went to waraku after lotsa discussion the previous nite. Haha.. Well the food was not bad and very filling yet not very expensive. I like the fish but forget the name ler.. Haha.. Yummy.. After that went to catch the movie "ghost rider".. Well i mus say the show was so-so only. Nothing special. but then still was quite comical ba. We had a simple dinner at mac before heading to esplanade there and slack.. So that was my first valentine day. =)
Oh ya.. becus of this valentine.. i bought flower for the first time in my lifetime. haha. and the flower was called shocking pink! keke..
17th Feb
Is the eve of Lunar New Year. a very different lunar new year eve for me ba. the other years will normally be in school half day then went home and had my reuninon steamboat dinner. Haha this year. while my parents and sis went into Malaysia. and where was i? the answer was working at Converse IMM. haha. since they need help plus i had nothing much to do so agreed to help lo. quite busy la.. the sales was good also. and it dun look like a chinese new year eve sia. so many ppl doing their shopping sia. all last min.. keke..
18th Feb
And so is the year of the pig.. oink oink. wishing all a prosperous and smooth sailing year ahead ba. Is the first day of Lunar New year. As usual we went to bugis, waterloo street, to pray. Was very squeezy.. Well i rmb there was a person that kept turning ard to see the "ashes" of whose joss sticks kept dropping on his shirt or head. waw.. if u are afraid then dun bother to come la. is definitely to be crowded and squeezy ma..
okay next destinationation was RIVER HONGBAO. nothing special ba.. jus walked ard. look at the twelve sheng xiao. and of course buy 4D. mom and all said i nv buy 4D from there before so asked me to buy. diaoz rite. anyway saw a lot of ppl collecting money there lor. haha.. so good..
next send my sis to Toa Payoh. then since was nearby so visited the shuang lin shi at toa payoh there lo.. this time rd.. my dad pray on behalf of all of us. we jus prayed outside. my first time there.. haha.. very crowded also..
our last destination. we went to loyang da bo gong temple. i din go pray cus very crowded. and guess wat. i shook hand with the god of fortune. so lucky. haha. he was about to leave the temple and walked past me. so i shook hand lor.. hehe.. so hopefully it would be a good year for me in turns of monetary wise ba. hehe
at nite. a little gatherings at my hse. my aunt all came over and bai nian. and so that mark my the end of my da nian chu yi. =)
21th Feb
A day visit to my poly classmate hse.. Visited hm hse first, then qj hse before my hse and lastly tobs hse. Good cus i can reach home pretty soon. lol. planned to have steamboat at marina square de but end up having kfc at tobs hse. nevertheless was fun and enjoyable. well who knows, it might be the last time we went to each other hse to bai nian ba.
Basically these few days were busy with preparation with MMIT final. Hai.. While most ppl were busy enjoying, bai-nian, gambling and stuff.. we were kept in front of computers do-ing ppt, brainstorming ideas and the staying in schools and staying up late in the nite.. SO sianz rite..
2nd Mar
What a day for me! A dark but yet colorful day. Well.. Today was the marketing plan competition finals. Woke up at ard 6 am. Thanks dear for waking me up two consecutive days. Haha even thou i woke up by myself. Well its been a long long time since i wake up so early le. Well the first "event" of the day. The LOST of WALLET! I think i was sleep-walking from my hse to school such that i din even noe that where i placed my wallet. The funny part was when i was standing up, i felt that i was stepping on something but then cus the door was closing so i rushed out. So as i touched my pocket. Ta da! i know what i stepped on. MY WALLET! so wat a start to a great day. The start of bad luck? Does it means today competition wun go well? These were the thoughts that flow thru my mind. 20 years of life nv had i lost my wallet. This was the first time. Surprisingly i was very calm with the fact that i usuallly will be very nervous, scared and all. So when i reported to the smrt office. "WHAT!" was the guy reply. I put down all my details and when he asked me wat was the brand of ur wallet? i replied i dunno and again WHAT was his reply. LOL.. so a very anxious wait for a call. cus it would be very troublesome to make ic, driving license and such again la. hai hai hai. the anxious mind had overtaken the nervous mind for the competition. so with luck, a good one this time. my phone rang and it was an unknown number. i knew in my heart my wallet had been found. my first real smile of the day. And true enough someone found it and informed the admin office of SP. It was at paya lebar station. well anyway.
i would like to thank the person who found my wallet. I appreciate that. And of course thanks the SMRT staff help.
Coming back to the competition thingy. The flow was quite fast. Not much delay. With the aircon and a bit of nervousness, it was a shivering experience. One grp after the other presented. We are the third group to present. so it was our turn. The whole presentation came out pretty well. The humour effect thou more towards lame side created an impact. At least the audience will remember.. so it was the end. a relief as the judges were pleased with the ideas and we were able to get thru the q&a..
After all the presentation, it was the hell time. The wait of result. Well it was really a tense moment.. and so.. after all the wait.. We made it. We are the first. All the hard work and last min editing pays off. However, the proud thing was not about getting first but that our class bagged both the champion. That was really a glory thing.
Here i would like to express my thanks to my grp mates. Joanne, ZM, HY and SOk. Had an enjoyable time and pardon for my lack of creativeness la. =) all the best to all and good luck in future! we dunno when we might meet again for some.
oh ya had curry for dinner again. it was dunno my 4th time eating curry in such a short span of time ba.. haha
3rd MAr
well for the next two weeks.. my hse will be quite quiet ba. Why do i say so leh.. cus my sis left for France. so envy rite? i would also love to go there in the future.. mus save money. haha..
anyway i encounter something unpleasant.. went to a particular store at Marsiling. and the attitude of the lady ordering was so bad. she kept wanted us to order 2 sets but we feel 1 set was enough and she face become damn black. and wat worse with the store. they kept serving other ppl first and it was damn irritating lo.. Hai..
well anyway after that "nice" dinner, went to airport to send my sis.. Waw the very moment enter airport feel like travelling lo. so many ppl with luggages. haha.. when will be my next time travelling??
4th MAr
The main event was.. I drove alone without the companion of my parents. Well thou there was dear but then the feeling was so different.. Lucky i nv panic. haha. if not cham..
5th MAr
Actually planned to stay at home and slack de.. but was thinking again what i was supposed to wear for gradball and realise i had no shoes to accompany with. And so decided to accompany dear to shop for her handbag.. Haha and in the end guess wad.. Only i bought things.. LOL.. bought a shoe.. Quite nice and match well with jeans. will post the pictures in the later part.. And yea. I bought my 2nd levis jeans. is a darker color de.
Went to collect my levis jeans at nite. Is the first time i drove into Orchard road. Waw so challenging. haha. but quite enjoyable also la.. the feeling was great.. Make one or two u-turns before finding the way to Lucky plaza. Wow i mus say the car park was very dangerous. the road was so squeezy plus there was a lot of sharp bends.. But nevertheless another valuable experience.. =)
6th MAr
Finally managed to slack the whole day at home le.. Its been a really long time since i last managed to slack at home without any stress. Without the need to rush projects, reports, study for test. Well.. Basically my activities was playing games, watching tv and movie. I watched the death note. Well quite an interesting movie. but lame at some parts ba. hmm the battle of 2 genius. Haha.. nw waiting for death note 2 to release ba. haa i knew i was slow. keke.. opps..
So is finally over.. is the end le.. no more thing associated with SP le.. i am really free for now. I finally can relax ler.. really relax.. no more ppt. no more killing of brain cells. no more burning midnight oils, no more looking at paper, no more for many others things. the no more might not be long but to me at least a one to two year. so next is all efforts on training for napfa and army ler. that my next plan le. To be physical fit and get through army smoothly!
Enjoy reading ba. (If you did not read everything i also wun blame de. cus this is jus a way for me to maintain my memory. i jus think my memory is no as good as before le.. sign of getting old.. hmm..)
Lastly for in this post. I would like to thank all those that had become a part of my SP life. Be it projects mates, camp mates, play mates, etc. It was a fast ride but yet a promising and enjoyable one. I will treasure every single bit of memory ever de. SO Good luck to all my classmates-ed. you all were once my best classmates but now my best friends.. good luck to whatever u do in future and all the best! Keep in touch!
